We don’t always fully understand why we feel the way we feel, so understanding our patterns of behaviour through counselling can be a validating and empowering experience. It can help us move forward in life with a better perspective and more purpose.
Is counselling for me?
Counselling may be seen as being for people who ‘need help’ or have experienced deep trauma. Whilst this is true, counselling can also be a tool to help you understand your life better, help you to find meaning and help you create a deeper sense of self. It can help come to terms with a new life situation, a diagnosis, or generally dealing with complex emotions we don’t fully understand.
